The Cisco Scholarship:

Francisco “Cisco” Laqui (2009-2024) was a fearless young boxer with Olympic dreams. Introduced to boxing at six, he trained relentlessly, becoming a Junior Olympic Champion. Though his life was tragically cut short at just 14, his fighting spirit lives on. Through the Cisco’s Dream Fund, he continues to inspire and support young boxers, helping them not only enter the sport he loved but also become the best versions of themselves. The Cisco Scholarship Fund is dedicated to supporting underprivileged youth who have faced challenging circumstances but possess a deep passion for boxing. This scholarship aims to provide these young individuals with the opportunity to channel their energy and determination into the sport they love. By offering financial assistance for boxing gear and gym memberships, the Cisco Scholarship Fund ensures that aspiring boxers can pursue their dreams and become part of a supportive boxing community, regardless of their financial background.

Through this scholarship, selected students will receive a PAL gym membership, providing them with a safe and structured environment to develop their boxing and physical skill while fostering self-discipline and mental well-being.
